Title: Megasys Maintenance Technician
Location: c/o Lam Research, 4400 Cushing Parkway, Fremont, CA 94538
Pay rate: $32 - $35/hr on W2
Job Summary:
- Join the MEGASYS® team supporting semiconductor manufacturing.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on chemical, gas, and slurry distribution systems while ensuring safe and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas, chemical, and slurry systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
- Read and interpret P&IDs
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately
- Support safe, 24/7 manufacturing operations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance or skilled trades experience (mechanical, plumbing, welding, oil & gas, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., climb ladders, and walk extensively during shifts
Preferred:
- Trade school or Associate degree in a technical field
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Experience with gas/chemical delivery systems, P&IDs, Lockout/Tagout, and continuous improvement
Schedule:
- 10-hour rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
