PROJECT MANAGER / OPERATIONAL READINESS COORDINATOR

LOCATION: Miami, FL

SCHEDULE:

DURATION: 12-Month Contract PAY: $32-37/hr Job Responsibilities: In this role, you will manage and coordinate large-scale strategic initiatives and Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) activities. This is a project management and operational readiness role, with a focus on coordination, stakeholder alignment, reporting, and delivery rather than hands-on testing. Key responsibilities include: Managing and coordinating multiple strategic initiatives and operational readiness activities. Driving project deliverables to completion accurately and on schedule. Coordinating ORT activities and ensuring readiness efforts are executed with a high degree of quality and attention to detail. Managing project risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and deliverables. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholder groups to maintain alignment, accountability, and progress. Preparing clear, concise, and leadership-ready reporting and presentations. Supporting large-scale implementations, readiness activities, cutover, and hypercare efforts as needed. Essential Duties and Job Functions: Coordinate and track project deliverables, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items. Proactively identify potential risks and issues and work with stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate resolutions. Facilitate communication and coordination across multiple stakeholder groups to ensure project objectives and deliverables remain on track. Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, dashboards, presentations, and other project documentation. Prepare executive-level communications and reporting that clearly communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions. Coordinate Operational Readiness Testing activities, ensuring schedules, deliverables, stakeholders, and action items are effectively managed. Monitor readiness activities and proactively follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion. Support implementation, cutover, and hypercare activities, including coordination of key deliverables and stakeholder communications. Maintain accurate project information and reporting within applicable project management tools. Utilize JIRA to track project activities, action items, issues, and deliverables. Develop and maintain Power BI reporting and dashboards to support project visibility and leadership decision-making. Develop professional PowerPoint presentations for project updates, executive reviews, and stakeholder meetings. Conduct regular follow-ups with stakeholders to maintain accountability and ensure commitments are met. Work independently to drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision. Maintain a high degree of organization and attention to detail across multiple concurrent priorities. Knowledge & Skills: Strong project management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage deliverables, risks, dependencies, issues, and action items. Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Advanced PowerPoint presentation development skills. Experience with JIRA and Power BI reporting. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to prioritize and manage competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively drive deliverables to completion. Strong ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholder groups. Ability to communicate complex project information clearly and concisely to leadership. Strong follow-up and accountability skills. Ability to build and maintain productive internal and external working relationships. Comfortable operating in an environment with minimal supervision and changing priorities. Education & Experience: 5+ years of project management, operational readiness, or related experience. Proven experience supporting large-scale strategic initiatives or implementations. Experience with operational readiness, cutover, hypercare, or similar readiness activities preferred. Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder groups. Experience developing executive-level presentations and project reporting. Experience with JIRA and Power BI strongly preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications. Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
