Work Environment

The role takes place onsite, primarily through our home care initiatives, allowing therapists to work closely with patients in their own environments. This unique setting fosters strong relationships with patients and their families, as we provide essential support directly where they feel most comfortable. Our team operates between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring a work-life balance while fulfilling our mission of excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to each patient by assessing their specific needs and developing effective treatment plans.
• Manage a diverse patient load, ensuring enough time and resources are devoted to each individual to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Utilize expertise in orthopedic outpatient care based on sound clinical judgment and previous hands-on experience.
• Incorporate cost-effective treatments, focusing on improving functional mobility while minimizing the reliance on surgical interventions and medications.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that combine various physical therapy modalities tailored to patient goals.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs to align with each patient's unique physical capabilities and health aspirations.
• Advocate for a healthy lifestyle by promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among our patients.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention strategies, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure progress.
• Document all services provided with accuracy, maintaining comprehensive records as part of our quality assurance objectives.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, engaging in interdisciplinary discussions to enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of clients who are seeking rehabilitation services following orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. Our patient population includes athletes, young adults, and older adults striving to regain their independence, improve mobility, and return to their daily activities. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through their recovery journey, tailored specifically to their lifestyle and therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license within the state of Florida.
• A clean license without any history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in a range of manual therapy techniques relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• A proven ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs based on evidence-based practice.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably Web PT, for efficient documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest physical therapy research and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Prior involvement in developing community wellness programs or outreach initiatives.
• Experience working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
