Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office, where you will work alongside a team of experienced therapists and healthcare providers. You can expect a schedule typically from Monday to Friday, with flexibility in daily hours (8 AM – 4 PM or 9 AM – 5 PM) or the option of four 10-hour shifts, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examination, and functional movement analysis, to develop personalized treatment strategies.
• Administer hands-on therapy utilizing a variety of modalities and techniques aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Implement ongoing modifications to therapy plans based on patient progress, providing appropriate documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on proper rehabilitation techniques, exercise regimens, and strategies for injury prevention, fostering their understanding and promoting self-management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with outpatient clients experiencing a range of conditions such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required for this role, while candidates with a Master's degree or higher are preferred.
• An active Florida Physical Therapy License or evidence of eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, exhibiting strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a strong foundation in outpatient rehabilitative practices.

Compensation and Benefits
