Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact this summer as a Paraprofessional, working one-on-one with an elementary-aged student in a supportive school environment near Everett, WA. This contract position runs from June 8th to June 18th, providing the chance to build valuable experience in a role with the potential to extend into summer and the upcoming school year for high-performing candidates.
Qualifications:
- Paraprofessional certification or relevant credentials required
- Prior experience supporting elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, compassionate, and adaptable with a student-centered approach
- Ability to collaborate well with teachers and other school staff
- Current knowledge of best practices in educational support
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one assistance to a male elementary student throughout the school day
- Support classroom activities, assignments, and social integration
- Implement behavioral and academic strategies tailored to the student’s needs
- Maintain detailed daily records of progress and challenges
- Communicate effectively with classroom teachers, school staff, and the student’s family
- Help foster a safe, positive, and inclusive atmosphere
This role offers a schedule of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with compensation ranging from $30 to $35 per hour. Consistent, weekly pay ensures a reliable paycheck throughout the assignment.
