What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a technology facility.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, facility concerns, and policy violations through accurate incident reports and timely communication with designated personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
