UAM is a comprehensive, residential and commuter, undergraduate institution also offering selected master's degree programs.DepartmentAdmissionsSummary of Job DutiesProvides, coordinates, and/or administers complex programs in admissions or services with limited supervision. Provide specialized or technical information, provide customer service requiring confidentiality and advanced communication skills, and/or perform diverse and complex data management processes requiring proficiency with a variety of software applications and an understanding of the structure of databases and the information contained in the database. Process transcripts, coordinate office activities, answering department phone lines, assisting with events and tours, responding professionally to emails, greet department visitors. Work with relative independence and minimal supervision. Perform all other duties as assigned.QualificationsThe formal education equivalent of high school diploma required plus 2-3 years of administrative/clerical support experience required in a professional office OR Associates degree or higher preferred. Excellent interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work independently in a team and fast paced office environment.
