Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for new clients to understand their unique needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities to deliver tailored one-on-one counseling sessions aimed at promoting personal growth and emotional well-being.
• Set clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, regularly monitor their progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Provide teletherapy options for clients seeking remote care or who may have accessibility challenges, ensuring that support is always accessible.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices and enrich your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. You will be expected to foster a safe and empathetic environment where clients can openly discuss their concerns and work towards achieving their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD) is required.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities to handle a diverse caseload.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, with familiarity in dealing with clients facing a range of mental health issues.
• Experience providing teletherapy services is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to technology in client interactions.
