Senior Trial AttorneySeeking an experienced Senior trial attorney to join a growing legal team in Houston, TX. Candidates must be licensed to practice law and have served as lead attorney in at least 15 trials. The role involves handling litigation matters from case strategy through trial, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, representing clients in court, and managing multiple cases. Experience in real estate, business, or construction law is highly preferred. Strong advocacy, legal writing, and communication skills are essential.We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior trial attorney.ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in litigation matters, including trials, hearings, and mediations.Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision.Prepare for court appearances by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.Communicate effectively with clients to explain legal processes and provide updates on case status.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on complex cases.Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas such as patent law, securities law, and estate planning.Manage case files efficiently and maintain accurate records of all legal proceedings.RequirementsActive license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures.Experience or familiarity with workers' compensation law, personal injury law, family law, patent law, securities law, or estate planning is preferred.Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive documents.Proficient in conducting legal research using various tools and resources.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Exceptional communication skills for effective client interaction and courtroom representation.Ability to meet highest attendance requirementsMust have ability to communicate and present; verbally, digitally, and in writing accurately and proficientlyAbility to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: Hybrid remote in Houston, TX 77042
