Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician for a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role involves assembling test tubes, labeling tubes manually or using a labeling machine, utilizing a heat sealing machine, and panel building. Candidates may also have the opportunity to cross-train on the lab side.

Responsibilities

• Assemble test tubes and ensure precision in all tasks.

• Label tubes either manually or using a labeling machine.

• Utilize heat sealing machines for efficient production.

• Participate in panel building and maintain high-quality standards.

• Enter cold storage rooms for up to an hour at a time; suitable breaks are provided.

• Ensure all tasks are completed within the designated time frames to maintain product temperature.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6-12 months of assembly experience.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Work Environment

The position is in a cleanroom environment where steel-toed shoes are required. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with occasional overtime as needed. The company produces important products used in infectious diseases and diagnostics, ensuring a meaningful and impactful work experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
