EHS Specialist

Environmental Health & Safety Specialist As an EHS Specialist, you’ll partner closely with facility leaders, managers, and employees to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. With the support of the EHS Manager, you’ll: Develop and implement safety and environmental programs, policies, and procedures. Guide facilities on compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulations. Manage and track regulatory reporting requirements (OSHA logs, EPA reports, environmental permits). Conduct facility inspections, identify hazards, and drive corrective actions. Support investigations, root cause analyses, and preventative measures. Deliver engaging EHS training on critical topics (hazard communication, PPE, LOTO, emergency response). Partner with leaders to educate and influence best practices across all levels of the organization. Contribute to sustainability initiatives and risk-reduction projects. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and regulatory compliance standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills— you can influence and collaborate across all levels. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS software systems. Experience working with regulatory agencies and workers’ compensation processes (a plus). Why Join Us?
