Line Cook

Crust & Cocktails is hiring a Line Cook for its location at 1256 Weathervane Ln in Akron. In this 55-seat restaurant, a small team covers the kitchen and bar; line cooks work grill, sauté, fry, pantry, and prep stations. The work centers on menu items prepared to recipes and standards, with consistent food quality and presentation during service. The role also covers prep, stocking, inventory rotation, a clean and sanitary kitchen, busy service, and cooperation with kitchen and front-of-house team members. This role offers full-time and part-time work, no more than 40 expected hours per week, and $15–$25 per hour.

What you'll do:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to the kitchen's recipes and standards
• Work the grill, sauté, fry, pantry, and prep stations in this role
• Check each item for the food quality and consistency expected by the kitchen
• Pay attention to presentation before a finished plate leaves the line
• Keep kitchen work areas clean, organized, and sanitary during service
• Help with food prep when the line needs ingredients ready
• Stock supplies and rotate inventory as part of regular prep duties
• Work efficiently during busy service periods in the kitchen
• Coordinate with the teammates in the kitchen and front of house

What you'll need:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Previous line cook, prep cook, or kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Dependability and punctuality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
