About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be a strategic financial executive, providing the financial vision, operational insight, and leadership necessary to support the company's growth. Key responsibilities for the CFO include leading all financial functions, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, and developing financial strategies that align with the company's goals. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing banking relationships, bonding programs, insurance, and ensuring financial compliance. A hands-on approach, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor and develop the finance team are essential. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive financial leadership experience within the commercial construction industry, with a background that includes roles such as CFO, VP of Finance, or Controller for a General Contractor. Comprehensive knowledge of construction accounting, WIP reporting, job costing, and experience with construction ERP systems is required. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in partnering with executive leadership on strategic planning and organizational growth. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is necessary, and a CPA designation is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be adept at team development, and be committed to the values of the company, including quality, integrity, and long-term client relationships.
