Sterile Processing Technician/Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician/Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech to join our team. This role involves providing intraoperative assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the operating room setting and procedures in accordance with the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) standards and recommended practices to ensure high-quality services to surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the sterile operating environment.
• Conduct intraoperative assessments and evaluations.
• Follow established standards and practices in handling surgical instrumentation.
• Maintain knowledge of care and handling of surgical instrumentation and power equipment according to Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and AORN guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in operating room scrubbing.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Familiarity with AORN standards and recommended practices.

Shift Information

This position offers a weekday schedule with no on-call responsibilities. Holiday coverage may be required.
