Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans that address individual client requirements, therapeutic goals, and personal preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support clients in managing interpersonal issues and emotional distress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, exploring treatment options and self-care strategies to enhance overall well-being.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on assessment outcomes and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients with co-occurring mental health issues.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy to continuously improve treatment methodologies.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines through accurate documentation and record-keeping practices.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families facing relationship challenges, particularly due to issues related to divorce. You will engage with diverse clients from various backgrounds and age groups, providing tailored support to help them navigate their unique situations. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
