Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy to clients with a focus on achieving measurable therapeutic goals, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to inform treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse groups, couples, families, and individuals, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring clients' confidentiality and proper documentation of their progress.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to keep updated on the latest mental health research and interventions.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care to clients, enhancing their treatment experience and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will be working with often have limited access to mental health care services. You will address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and family dynamics. Your role as a counselor will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their challenges, improve their coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical environment.
