Adecco Staffing is working with a company in Ayer, MA to bring on a Machinist! This is a full time position.Location: Acton, MAPay Range: $18–$26 per hour (Based on experience)Shift: 1stshiftJob Summary:We are currently seeking a CNC Operator to join our team in a specialized optics manufacturing environment. This role involves operating and programming a variety of manual and CNC machines, including equipment specific to the optical industry. Experience with optics is a strong plus but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:Operate manual and CNC machines used in the production of optical componentsProgram and run 3-axis CNC machines (Haas experience is a plus)Learn and operate specialized optical machining equipment, including Optipro SX 150 and Optipro PX 200Perform quality checks and ensure precision of machined componentsMaintain equipment and keep work area clean and organizedFollow safety and production protocols at all timesQualifications:Previous machining experience required (optical machining experience is a plus)Ability to program CNC machines preferredExperience with Haas CNC machines is a plusWillingness to learn and operate optical-specific equipmentStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a teamIf you are interested, please apply to this positing and include an updated resume on your application!Pay Details: $18.00 to $26.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
