Senior Financial Analyst - Commercial

A dynamic, growth-oriented organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support its commercial operations. This role will act as a key finance partner to revenue-generating teams, providing insights and analysis to help drive business performance and guide strategic decision-making. This is a highly visible opportunity for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and using data to influence outcomes across sales and marketing functions. Key Responsibilities Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance analysis Develop financial models and reporting tools to track revenue trends, pipeline activity, and business performance Analyze marketing investments and evaluate return on spend to improve allocation decisions Support profitability analysis across customers, channels, and territories Assist with sales planning efforts, including territory alignment and incentive structure modeling Contribute to month-end and quarter-end processes through variance analysis and performance reporting Maintain data accuracy across financial systems and reporting tools Participate in budgeting and expense tracking for commercial functions Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as the business evolves Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, ideally supporting revenue-generating teams Experience working in a data-driven environment with large datasets and multiple reporting sources Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis Strong data visualization and reporting experience (e.g., dashboards, performance reporting) Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders Strong communication skills with experience partnering cross-functionally Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred Exposure to SQL, Python, or other data/analytics tools is a plus Familiarity with CRM systems and understanding of sales performance metrics is preferred Background in a product-based or operational environment (e.g., manufacturing, consumer goods, etc.) is a plus MBA or CPA (or progress toward) preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
