Overview The Medical Billing / Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for managing front office operations while supporting medical billing functions. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors while ensuring accurate billing, insurance verification, and administrative support. The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with healthcare billing procedures. Key Responsibilities Front Desk Duties Greet patients and visitors professionally. Schedule patient appointments and maintain calendars. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries. Maintain patient records and update information in the system. Process patient intake forms and documentation. Medical Billing Duties Prepare and submit insurance claims. Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility. Post payments and reconcile accounts. Follow up on unpaid claims or denied claims. Assist with billing inquiries from patients and insurance companies. Qualifications High school diploma or associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience in medical office administration or billing. Knowledge of medical billing systems and insurance procedures. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
