Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to serve patients from the comfort of your home or any location of your choice. Our telehealth model is designed to facilitate comprehensive and effective therapy sessions, ensuring that you have access to the latest technology and tools necessary for your practice. Monday through Friday work hours are standard, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential evening shifts to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the specific needs and treatment goals of patients seeking help for substance use disorders.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's situation.
• Facilitate engaging individual counseling sessions, employing methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
• Lead group therapy sessions to foster community support and shared recovery experiences among clients.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during times of emergency relating to substance use episodes.
• Educate patients and their families on addiction issues, recovery strategies, and available community resources to enhance support networks.
• Maintain meticulous and secure documentation that complies with all legal and ethical standards in healthcare.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development.
• Stay informed about advancements in substance use treatment and best practices to continually improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who are navigating their recovery from substance use disorders. This diverse patient population includes people from various backgrounds and walks of life, each facing unique challenges. Your contributions will be pivotal in helping clients develop coping strategies, understand their addiction, and build a foundation for lasting recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Thorough understanding of evidence-based treatment models and recovery-oriented approaches.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology used for telehealth.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will possess additional experience in delivering both individual and group therapy and have advanced knowledge of comprehensive addiction treatments. Familiarity with community resources and support organizations can enhance the quality of care provided.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses and a sign-on bonus.
