About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Learning Officer and Senior Vice President for Medical Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a large medical education division, managing a diverse portfolio of educational programs, products, and services. This includes strategic direction for the development of online medical knowledge products, scientific program oversight for annual meetings, and various educational derivative products. The role also involves serving as the senior educational representative of the organization, fostering relationships with other professional entities, and ensuring that the educational programs align with the professional requirements of the medical field. Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. with residency training and board certification in internal medicine, and a proven track record in medical, graduate medical, and continuing medical education. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the medical education continuum, educational trends, and professional requirements such as certification and CME. Key skills include the ability to develop and edit clinical content, fiscal management, business development, and collaborative planning. The role requires a leader who is committed to producing innovative and dynamic medical education programs that meet the needs of learners and who can work effectively across the organization to achieve strategic goals.
