We hope you will join us as we continue to learn, evolve, and shape what comes next on our mission to make better food accessible to everyone.THE OPPORTUNITYResponsibilitiesIn addition to following Chipotle's policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leading the restaurant team in successful day-to-day operations - by example and by being a role model of the standards and behaviors consistent with Chipotle's values and cultureProperly training and developing Crew, Hourly Managers, and Apprentices through quality orientations, development discussions, performance evaluations, and recognition so that they are prepared for additional career opportunitiesCoaching and counseling employees on a timely basisMaking decisions on promotions and terminations of employees, and taking the appropriate actionIdentifying talent, interviewing, and hiring new CrewDemonstrating the management style that is reflective of Chipotle's values and cultureFostering an environment of teamworkSuccessfully communicating company changes/focus to the teamEnsuring that employees are paid properly and receive appropriate benefitsWriting schedules that meet the needs of the business so that a great customer experience is delivered while maintaining financial responsibilityBuilding sales and managing the restaurant budgetCompiling, preparing, and maintaining P&L statements, budgets, and cost controls with regard to food, beverage, and labor goalsImplementing and practicing proper payroll proceduresPerforming required administrative duties on time, including processing required paperworkEnsuring that safety and security standards are emphasized and adhered to, and that employees are trained in appropriate responses to unsafe situationsThe Ideal Candidate Will:Be able to develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnelSpeak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employeesPossess exceptional customer service skillsHave the ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work locationHave the ability to adapt and succeed in a fast paced environmentHave previous restaurant management experienceHave experience as a Chipotle ApprenticeHave applied experience handling OSHA, EEOC, and health department mattersHave an A.A. or B.A./B.S in a related fieldHave knowledge of and the ability to use a PC and Microsoft Office SuitePAY TRANSPARENCYA reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $60,000.00–$84,000.00. You are also eligible for quarterly cash bonuses based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
