Landscape Construction Crew Leader

Join a growing landscape construction company as a Landscape Construction Crew Leader, where your leadership and hands-on skills will help shape commercial outdoor spaces. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated crew of 4–5 team members on a variety of commercial landscape construction projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality workmanship, safety, and fostering a positive team environment. Regular overtime is available, and the company values teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a crew of 4–5 employees on daily commercial landscape construction activities.
- Install irrigation systems, unit pavers, trees, plants, soils, mulch, and other landscape improvements according to project plans.
- Interpret and execute landscape plans, ensuring all work meets company quality standards.
- Promote and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices at all times.
- Communicate effectively with crew members in both English and Spanish to ensure project goals are met.
- Train, mentor, and support crew members, fostering teamwork and accountability within the crew.
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial landscape construction required.
- Previous experience leading a crew is preferred.
- Knowledge of irrigation, planting, and hardscape installation techniques.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift 50+ lbs., and work extended hours with overtime as needed.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
Starting at $25+/hour , depending on skills and experience. Regular overtime opportunities available.
