Job Responsibilities The Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia seeks applications to fill a non‑tenure-track academic position in Strategy and Innovation. Job responsibilities: responsibilities for this position include teaching six courses per year in Strategy related subjects such as Business and Corporate Strategy, Strategy Execution, Global Strategy, Strategy Consulting Practicum, or other related subjects that may be needed, at both undergraduate and graduate level. Some of these courses involve hands‑on/experiential learning in strategy consulting and execution. All teaching assignments will be determined by the area chair of Strategy and Innovation. The Strategy and Innovation group has a strong research focus on technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation. In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, curriculum development, advising students on both academic and future career development progress; and preparing course materials. Candidates are also expected to engage in service and/or outreach activities for the Department and/or the School as well as in sufficient professional activities to maintain currency with AACSB standards. Candidates may serve as liaisons between industry or government and the Institute in identifying teaching and research or other opportunities that support the public interest and societal needs. Required Qualifications The minimum requirements are an MS or MBA degree in management, strategy, or a related field; however, a Ph.D. in strategy or similar disciplines is preferred. Student Success Criteria The ability to teach and mentor a diverse student body The ability to design and teach curricula that are responsive to a diverse student body The ability to adopt teaching strategies that support the learning and success of all students The ability to engage students in experiential learning activities and pedagogy that support student success Application Requirements Applications must include: Resume and/or CV, including education, research interests/publications, work experience, and other relevant information Cover letter Three confidential letters of recommendation (one personal and two professional references). The Strategy and Innovation area at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business in Atlanta, Georgia seeks qualified applicants for one tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant/associate commencing in the Fall semester of 2027 which begins in mid-August.
