Job Description We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft FSCM Business Analyst with expertise in General Ledger and Commitment Accounting to support financial system initiatives, implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials, state government accounting practices, business process analysis, system testing, and stakeholder engagement. This role will work closely with business users, project teams, and technical resources to ensure successful project delivery and system optimization. Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system solutions. Support PeopleSoft FSCM implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects with a focus on General Ledger and Commitment Accounting modules. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, validate, and prioritize requirements. Create and maintain project deliverables, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, test plans, and training materials. Conduct end-to-end system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution activities. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with business and technical stakeholders. Support system configuration reviews and ensure alignment with business requirements and accounting standards. Work closely with project teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment of system changes. Provide production support and assist with issue analysis and resolution. Maintain project documentation and communicate project status to stakeholders. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting PeopleSoft FSCM implementation or upgrade projects. Hands‑on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM General Ledger and Commitment Accounting modules. Strong understanding of state government accounting practices and financial processes. Experience creating business analysis deliverables, including requirements documentation, process flows, and test scripts. Experience conducting end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing. Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Texas state agency PeopleSoft FSCM (CAPPS Financials) environments. Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience using Jira for project and issue tracking. Experience with SharePoint Lists and Microsoft Teams collaboration tools.
