Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Tampa, where you will work closely with a passionate team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational and speech therapists, and rehabilitation nurses. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical function, impairments, and limitations due to injuries or illnesses.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on physician recommendations and best practices in physical therapy.
• Utilize a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and other modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Document patient progress, treatment efficacy, and modifications to treatment plans in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff during patient care interactions to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on care strategies with physicians, nurses, and other specialists.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with advancements in physical therapy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.

Compensation and Benefits
