Responsibilities include the coordination and facilitation of quality nursing care through 24/7 of a designated in patient care unit.**Job Duties Include:*** Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the patient/resident environment is safe and clean in accordance with facility standards and DOH regulations* Participates in staff development* Ensure quality patient/family centered care are provided timely* Patient/customer satisfaction issues are resolved timely* Collaboration with other departments to ensure quality patient care* Development and implementation of policies and procedures according to evidence based practice in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines.**Education and Requirements:*** Masters degree preferred. Bachelor's degree required* Valid NYS Nursing License* Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar environment, along with progressive leadership experience* BLS/Infection Control CertificationsSchaffer Extended Care Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
