CNC Lathe Operator

CNC Lathe Machine Operator Location: Batavia, IL Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Pay: 23.00 per hour Job Overview: Operate CNC Lathe machines and a computer console to complete assigned work. Complex machine setups are handled by others. You will check parts using measurement tools and make simple machine adjustments as needed. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines including mills and lathes Read and follow blueprints and drawings Set feeds and speeds and follow setup instructions Perform basic machine adjustments Inspect parts during production to ensure quality Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records Work with different departments to complete jobs Follow all safety guidelines Assist in other areas as needed Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to read measurements and use tools such as calipers and micrometers Basic math and reading skills Ability to read prints and work instructions Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills Good communication and teamwork skills Able to lift up to 50 pounds Basic computer skills Associate can report any hazards and concerns to the Illinois Department of Labor by call the Department s Day and Temporary Labor Services Act toll-free hotline at View phone number on click.appcast.io or email at View email address on click.appcast.io Total Talent Resources and QFS does not provide any transportation resources or meals for our associates during any assignments.
