Cavalry Real Estate Advisors is looking for an Administrative Assistant to build a successful career within a fast-growing real estate services and technology company. Cavalry provides property tax consulting and market research advisory to a range of clients including REITs, private equity funds, developers, investors, and public entities across the country. Job Responsibilities: Assist the consulting team with preparing and submitting hearing evidence for tax assessment appeals Complete new client intake process including setting up client folders and profiles Maintain client management database with client and property information such as assessed values, appeal statuses, decisions, dates and deadlines Prepare billing support documents and assist accounting team with collection efforts Pick up mail from the Falls Church post office box, and scan, save, and circulate as appropriate a few times a week. Interact with taxing jurisdictions to collect and verify real estate tax information Various other administrative tasks as needed Job Requirements: The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: High School or GED diploma required Able to work onsite in Falls Church City up to 5 days a week Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Self-motivated with the ability to contribute both independently and as a team member Resourceful, collaborative, and an inherent desire to innovate Demonstrate an interest in the commercial real estate industry Manage multiple responsibilities, changing priorities, and excel in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail, excellent writing skills, positive attitude, and timeliness are a must Our Commitment: Base Salary: $55,000 per year Business Origination Commission: 10% of net revenue generated from any new client and work you originate for the company (this is not a job requirement, but it is a valued skill) Year-end bonus: 10% – 15% of base salary. Bonus range is dependent upon the company’s performance and revenue goals achieved.
