Headmaster Responsibilities Foster and strengthen Priory’s Catholic and Benedictine identity through mission‑centered leadership and close collaboration with the Board of Governors. Cultivate a vibrant and inclusive school culture rooted in the Benedictine charism of prayer, community, and hospitality. Guide and empower the leadership team – the architects of academic and co‑curriculum learning – to advance academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and faith integration, forming young men in mind, body, and spirit. Expand opportunities for leadership development, service, spiritual growth, and cultural engagement. Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, effective personnel practices, and safe, supportive learning environments. Collaborate with the Abbot, Board of Governors, and leadership team on strategic planning, enrollment management, and school‑wide operations. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors to ensure ongoing financial stability. Steward resources and budgets responsibly, aligning them with mission priorities and long‑term sustainability. The search committee is on a fast‑track to identify and secure the next Headmaster. Candidates are expected to be available to assume the role in July 2027.
