As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Service in FAIRFAX, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols and primarily drive throughout assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required access and activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in clear, accurate reports and communicate security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
