Title: Business Development Manager - Technology Consulting

Location: NY/NJ/Remote

Duration: Full Time

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• prospect, qualify, and close new logos for managed services and project-based delivery engagements

• Run full-cycle, consultative enterprise sales discovery with technology and business stakeholders, solution scoping, proposal and SOW development, MSA/contract negotiation

• Lead with Amtex's managed services and delivery capability, and layer in Technology staffing or blended delivery support as a natural complement to close larger, stickier deals

• Navigate multi-stakeholder enterprise buying cycles, including RFP/RFI responses and procurement processes

• Build and manage a pipeline against monthly and quarterly bookings targets, discipline to track stage, forecast, and next steps

• Partner with delivery leadership and Recruiting to scope engagements accurately and ensure smooth handoff from signed deal to delivery

• Represent Amtex at industry events, enterprise procurement/VMS program reviews, and client site visits across the east coast.

• Coordinate with existing BDs to keep territory and account coverage complementary rather than overlapping

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of enterprise business development or sales experience in IT consulting, managed services, or professional/technology services.

• Track record of closing net-new enterprise logos on project- or outcome-based engagements (not just staff-augmentation renewals)

• Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles involving SOWs, MSAs, and procurement/RFP processes

• Working fluency in managed-services and delivery vocabulary: outcome-based pricing, fixed-fee sprints, build-operate-transfer, GCC/captive models, blended onshore/offshore delivery

• Strong discovery and consultative-selling instincts, able to earn credibility with VP/C-suite stakeholders.

• Based in or willing to work from the New York metro area, with ability to travel for client meetings

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience selling staffing or talent solutions as a complement to a managed services or consulting relationship

• Existing book of relationships with technology, digital transformation, or procurement leaders.
