Human Resources CoordinatorLewiston, MNFT - Mon-Fri$19.00-$23.00 DOEExpress Employment is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support daily Human Resources operations with a strong focus on payroll administration for a local company in Lewiston, MN. This role is responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely while also assisting with employee onboarding, benefits administration, recordkeeping, and general HR support. The ideal candidate is dependable, confidential, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPayroll AdministrationProcess bi-weekly payroll accurately and on scheduleReview employee timecards for accuracy and follow up on missed punches or discrepanciesMaintain payroll recordsProcess payroll changes including new hires, terminations, wage changes, deductions, and benefit adjustmentsGenerate payroll reports as requested by managementSupport year-end payroll activities including W-2 preparation and auditsHuman Resources SupportAssist with onboarding and orientation of new employeesMaintain employee files and HRIS recordsSupport benefits administration including enrollments and changesAssist with leave administration and trackingCoordinate employee communications and HR documentationHelp ensure compliance with company policies and employment lawsSupport recruiting efforts including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidatesPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred2+ years of HR and/or payroll experience preferredExperience with payroll systems and HRIS platformsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information professionallyStrong communication and customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelKnowledge of payroll practices and employment laws preferredPreferred ExperienceManufacturing or contract manufacturing environment experienceExperience with attendance tracking systemsFamiliarity with leave administration and benefits coordinationPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting and computer workAbility to occasionally lift up to 15 poundsWhy Work with Express Employment Professionals?At Express Employment Professionals, our Employment Specialists take the time to learn about your skills, experience, and career goals so we can connect you with opportunities that are the right fit.
