Job Details

• Position: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) - Hospital (inpatient and some outpatient)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190
• Location: Klamath Falls, OR 97601 - Klamath Falls occupational therapist / Oregon OT jobs
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (July 6, 2026 - October 5, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 or 10-hour day shifts (depending on facility need)
• Charting System: EPIC (experience with EPIC preferred)
• Setting: Hospital setting with possible outpatient responsibilities - hospital OT job, inpatient occupational therapy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT), including inpatient and outpatient adult therapy
• Current Oregon Occupational Therapist licensure or eligibility with evidence of application (Oregon OT license required or in-process)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience treating neuro conditions and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Proficient computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records (EPIC)
• Ability to obtain a valid driver's license or provide an acceptable alternative

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and administer medically prescribed occupational therapy treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain, and support adaptation after illness, injury, or amputation
• Deliver diagnostic and skilled therapy services under provider orders, demonstrating professional clinical judgment in hospital and outpatient settings
• Participate in patient identification and referral through screening, informal evaluations, and coordination with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Re-evaluate skilled needs, modify treatment plans, and prepare discharge summaries as clinically indicated
• Prepare and maintain accurate written and electronic documentation including evaluations, treatment plans, daily progress notes, and billing-ready records
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards of care in all clinical interactions
