???? NOW HIRING: AUTOMOTIVE INTERNET PARTS CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

VIP Automotive Group of Long Island is seeking an experienced Automotive Internet Parts Customer Service Representative to join our growing OEM Automotive Parts E-Commerce operation in Lindenhurst, NY.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Automotive Parts Customer Service Representative, Internet Parts Representative, OEM Parts Specialist, Automotive Parts Advisor, Parts Specialist, or Automotive E-Commerce Parts Professional who understands dealership parts operations and online parts sales.

Automotive parts experience is required. This is not an entry-level customer service position.

You'll play an important role in managing online automotive parts orders, customer communication, order fulfillment, shipping, returns, and problem resolution while helping drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

???? COMPENSATION

$70,000 – $90,000 per year

Inclusive of base salary, commission, and bonuses.

Your earning potential is tied to your experience, performance, customer service, and ability to support and generate automotive parts business.

???? SCHEDULE

Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekends: Approximately 2 hours required remotely
Some schedule flexibility may be required during peak order volume periods.

???? WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Automotive Internet Parts Customer Service Representative , you'll manage online OEM automotive parts orders from initial customer inquiry through fulfillment and delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Process and manage online automotive parts orders from placement through fulfillment
• Verify OEM part numbers, pricing, quantities, availability, and shipping information
• Research parts applications and provide accurate automotive parts information
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
• Provide OEM automotive parts quotes and product information
• Monitor orders and proactively communicate order status
• Resolve customer concerns involving:
  • Incorrect parts
  • Damaged shipments
  • Lost packages
  • Delayed deliveries
  • Backordered parts
  • Order discrepancies
• Coordinate with warehouses, vendors, shipping carriers, and dealership departments
• Process cancellations, exchanges, refunds, reshipments, and order modifications
• Support a high-volume automotive e-commerce parts operation
• Handle customer escalations and complex order issues
• Assist Level 1 Customer Service Representatives with escalated cases
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and order resolutions
• Communicate professionally through email, phone, and online customer channels
• Follow up with customers and leads to generate additional parts business
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and customer retention
• Help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the order process

???? AUTOMOTIVE PARTS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

This position requires previous automotive parts experience.

Qualified candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Automotive dealership Parts Department
• OEM automotive parts
• Internet Parts Department
• Automotive e-commerce
• Online automotive parts sales
• Automotive parts fulfillment
• Wholesale automotive parts
• Retail automotive parts
• Parts counter or parts sales
• Automotive parts customer service

✅ QUALIFICATIONS

We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented automotive parts professional who can manage multiple customer orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required / Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of automotive parts experience preferred
• Automotive dealership parts experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of OEM automotive parts and part numbers
• Experience with online automotive parts ordering
• Understanding of order fulfillment and shipping processes
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Ability to manage multiple orders and customer requests simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable handling customer escalations
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with dealership teams
• Sales-minded approach with the ability to identify revenue opportunities

???? AUTOMOTIVE SOFTWARE & E-COMMERCE EXPERIENCE

Experience with the following systems is a plus:

• RevolutionParts
• CDK
• ShipStation
• Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
• Automotive e-commerce platforms
• Online parts ordering systems
• Inventory and fulfillment software

Experience with other automotive parts or e-commerce platforms is also valuable.
