Vendor Manager

Law firm is seeking a Vendor Manager to join their Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all vendor relationships such as legal research platforms, expense/AP automation tools, travel and corporate card programs, facilities/office services, and professional services
• Lead RFP/RFI processes, benchmark pricing, and negotiate contract terms, SLAs, and pricing structures
• Draft, review, and manage vendor contracts including tracking renewal dates, auto-renewal clauses, and termination windows
• Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics (SLA compliance, service quality, responsiveness) and conduct periodic business reviews
• Serve as primary escalation point for vendor service issues, billing discrepancies, and disputes
• Partner with Finance/AP to reconcile vendor invoices, resolve billing errors, and support month-end/quarter-end close processes
• Maintain an accurate & current vendor master file, including W-9s, insurance certificates, diversity certifications, and compliance documentation
• Support the vendor risk management program, including due diligence, data security assessments, and business continuity planning for critical vendors
• Identify consolidation opportunities across practice groups/offices to reduce vendor sprawl and maximize purchasing leverage
• Track and report on cost savings, avoidance, and vendor spend against budget
• Stay current on market trends and emerging tools (AI-driven procurement/expense platforms, e-billing, travel management systems) relevant to law firm operations

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 5+ years of vendor management and/or procurement experience required; law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred
• Proficiency with contract lifecycle management, expense management, or e-procurement platforms a must

Salary Range: $90-120K
