Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule: Shift: Evenings, 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM Weekend Schedule: Friday / Saturday / Sunday (block required)

Assignment Details:

• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• On-call: No (but call may be assigned to meet department needs)
• Holiday Requirement: Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Requirements:

• Valid state license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• Preferred: Trauma Level II experience
• Required certifications: BLS, CNOR
• Charting system: Epic (hardstop)
• Competence to circulate urgent/emergent cases across ortho and neuro

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Circulate for general, urgent/emergent, and trauma cases
• Manage neurosurgical cases including craniotomy and complex spinal fusion
• Oversee orthopedic and total joint procedures
• Assist in robotic-assisted procedures (Da Vinci)
• Handle blood administration, cell-saver experience, and follow universal protocol/time-out
• Manage trauma and multi-system injury situations

Compliance / Notes:

• Background checks are required
• Time-off / RTO: Request all RTO/scheduling exceptions upfront during submission
• Parking: No fee
