This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while still maintaining a presence in our welcoming outpatient office. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Summit Psychotherapy, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques aimed at fostering personal growth and emotional well-being.

• Utilize teletherapy platforms to provide virtual counseling sessions for clients who may have transportation challenges or prefer remote interactions.

• Maintain precise documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to ensure compliance with ethical standards and state regulations.

• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about emerging therapeutic trends and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, children, and families, reflecting a broad spectrum of mental health concerns. We particularly seek clinicians who possess a passion for serving clients from various backgrounds, including those of color and LGBTQIA communities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current, active state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience in a similar role, demonstrating competency in therapeutic techniques.

• Experience working with diverse populations, including couples, children, and individuals facing complex challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional training or certifications in specialized therapeutic approaches such as trauma-focused therapy, play therapy, or family systems therapy will be viewed favorably. Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions and engaging with clients remotely via telehealth platforms will also enhance your application.
