About the Role We are seeking a Manager / Director of Core Operations to own the operating infrastructure that keeps our care delivery engine running. As enrollment volume and billed activity grow, the systems, processes, and models behind them have to grow too. This is the person who builds and owns that backbone. You will be the connective tissue of the Operations leadership team — sitting alongside the Manager/Director of Enrollment and the Director of Care Navigation, and owning the shared infrastructure none of them should have to build alone: our billing and finance operations, our core operational systems, and the capacity planning that keeps staffing matched to patient demand. You won’t line-manage the enrollment or care navigation teams; you’ll be the peer who makes their work possible by owning the machinery underneath it. We’re open across the Manager to Director range. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will partner directly with leadership to keep operations compliant, efficient, and ready to scale — then build the infrastructure that makes it real. What You’ll Do Billing & Finance Operations Own the integrity and throughput of our revenue cycle — claim accuracy, reconciliation, denial management, and days-to-bill. Stand up billing operations for new service lines as they come online, designing the process and controls before volume arrives rather than after. Build and maintain the controls and dashboards that make billing performance visible, owning the operational execution and the numbers end to end. Own the operational finance processes for ensuring partners and vendors are paid accurately and on time. Core Systems Own the core operational systems the team runs on day to day — cal.com, DialPad, the Ops team Notion — including configuration, discipline, and the roadmap for what to build, adopt, or retire. Design the data flows and handoff workflows connecting enrollment, care navigation, and billing so nothing falls through the cracks. Select, implement, and operationalize new tooling that earns its place in the stack, continuously testing what’s working. Capacity Planning Build and own the model that matches staffed capacity to patient demand across enrollment and care navigation. Own the program‑routing logic that will place patients into the right pathway for both care fit and sustainable economics. Connect headcount decisions to demand so the team staffs ahead of growth, not behind it. Process, Compliance & Cross-Functional Collaboration Design the SOPs, decision trees, and controls that keep operations compliant as we scale. Work closely with Enrollment, Care Navigation, and Product to ensure the operating system supports the whole delivery motion, not just one function. As a trusted operational leader, own standing up new systems and processes as needed to support new business lines or functions. You’ll Love This Role If You see leverage where others see tasks. What We’re Looking For Experience and skills A strong history of achievement (top schools, top companies, high impact projects) 4 to 8+ years of total experience, with a strong preference for a consulting background plus time in an operations, or finance-operations function at a high-growth healthcare or vertical SaaS company. A track record of building or meaningfully scaling operational infrastructure — systems, processes, and models — not just operating within someone else’s. Strong analytical horsepower: you reason from the numbers, build models others can use, and translate ambiguity into structured frameworks. Hands‑on fluency building capacity models, reconciliations, and operational dashboards; comfort with the systems and tooling that run an ops function. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make a complex system legible to a cross‑functional team. Preferred qualifications Experience building operations in healthcare, value‑based care, or a regulated vertical. Familiarity with Medicare-reimbursed care models (GUIDE, PIN, CCM/PCM) and the billing and compliance requirements for these models. Track record of designing revenue-cycle processes, capacity models, or compliance controls from scratch. Experience standing up or scaling operations at an early-stage or fast-growing company.
