Executive Assistant to the SVP for Commercial Strategy

Job Requirements Salary Range: $75,000 to $87,000 yearly The Senior Vice President for Commercial Strategy seeks a highly organized, poised, and professional Executive Assistant to provide executive-level administrative and operational support in a fast-paced, highly collaborative enterprise environment. The Executive Assistant will serve as the primary point of contact for the Senior Vice President for Commercial Strategy's demanding and complex schedule and will support the coordination of enterprise-wide commercial initiatives spanning gaming, hospitality, entertainment, retail, loyalty, marketing, analytics, and revenue optimization. This role requires exceptional judgment, discretion, professionalism, and the ability to anticipate needs, prioritize competing demands, and manage highly confidential and sensitive information. The Executive Assistant must thrive in a dynamic environment requiring strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, while supporting cross-functional coordination among senior leadership, department executives, internal stakeholders, and external business partners. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, technologically savvy, and capable of managing multiple assignments with speed, accuracy, and efficiency while maintaining a high level of professionalism and trustworthiness. Your day-to-day as an Executive Assistant with us:
- Provides high-level executive administrative support to the Senior Vice President for Commercial Strategy and assigned leadership team members, performing a wide variety of confidential administrative, operational, and coordination functions.
- Manages and coordinates a demanding and constantly evolving executive calendar, including scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, prioritizing requests, and making real-time adjustments.
- Coordinates enterprise-wide meetings involving executive leadership, operating departments, and external partners; schedules in-person and virtual meetings and arranges conference space, catering, equipment, and A/V needs.
- Prepares, organizes, and distributes meeting materials, agendas, reports, presentations, briefing documents, and follow-up communications.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with senior leadership across Turning Stone Enterprises, the Oneida Indian Nation, and affiliated business entities, as well as external consultants, vendors, agencies, and business partners.
- Generates reports, presentations, dashboards, spreadsheets, and other business materials utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other business applications, including highly confidential and strategic information.
- Assists with the preparation, proofreading, formatting, and fact-checking of correspondence, presentations, reports, and executive communications.
- Coordinates travel arrangements, itineraries, expense reports, invoice processing, and related executive administrative activities.
- Maintains organized electronic and physical filing systems, records, and documentation in accordance with departmental and enterprise standards.
- Tracks and monitors deadlines, priorities, deliverables, and follow-up items to ensure timely completion of projects and initiatives.
- Supports coordination across commercial strategy functions, including marketing, analytics, loyalty, sales, events, entertainment, and revenue optimization teams.
- Serves as a liaison between the Senior Vice President and internal departments to facilitate communication, scheduling, and operational alignment.
- Handles sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information with the highest degree of discretion and professionalism.
- Quickly troubleshoots technology, scheduling, and meeting coordination issues as they arise.
- Answers and redirects routine requests and inquiries using established procedures and sound judgment.
- Assists with special projects, executive presentations, leadership meetings, and enterprise initiatives as assigned.
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting senior executives in an Executive Assistant or similar high-level administrative role.
- Experience supporting executive leadership in fast-paced corporate, hospitality, gaming, entertainment, retail, or multi-unit business environments preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing highly complex calendars, executive priorities, and competing deadlines.
- Proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive matters with discretion, diplomacy, and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and proactively solve problems with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with executives, leadership teams, team members, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, and other business software applications.
- Ability to prepare concise, professional written communications and executive-level materials.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, administrative, and coordination skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and ability to maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, travel, and executive logistics.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
