Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse, Pediatric Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Pediatric Operating Room environment, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.
• Assume responsibility for scrubbing and circulating duties in pediatric ophthalmology and other surgical specialties.
• Support patient care across various surgical procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and coordinate care efficiently.
• Demonstrate adaptability in performing duties in different UCSF facilities as needed.
• Participate in emergency response codes and facilitate safe anesthesia practices.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS & PALS certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Operating Room experience.
• Experience in scrubbing and circulating ophthalmology cases required.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Capability to work and adapt to different hospital settings and float as necessary.
