Job Summary
- Experienced Guidewire Policy centre Test Manager with 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and large-scale P&C insurance implementations .
- Strong expertise in end-to-end test strategy, test planning, functional, integration, system, regression, automation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Extensive knowledge of P&C insurance processes, including policy administration, underwriting, rating, billing, claims, and system integrations.
- Proven ability to lead distributed testing teams, manage defect lifecycles, drive test automation, and establish quality governance standards.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, risk assessment, test metrics, and executive-level reporting, with a focus on ensuring application quality, seamless system integration, and successful production releases and go-live readiness.
- Guidewire Policy centre certification or equivalent implementation credentials preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end testing strategy and execution for a large Guidewire Policy centre program.
- Lead distributed functional, integration, automation, and UAT testing teams across the implementation lifecycle.
- Define test plans, scope, entry/exit criteria, environments, test data, schedules, and quality metrics.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage across Policy centre, downstream/upstream systems, integrations, data migration, and business processes.
- Govern defect triage, root-cause analysis, risk tracking, reporting, and resolution with project stakeholders.
- Promote automation of regression and repeatable test scenarios to improve efficiency and release quality.
- Coordinate with business, product, technology, vendor, and program teams to support successful releases and go-live readiness.
- Provide regular executive-level status reporting on testing progress, risks, dependencies, and quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, including large-scale Guidewire Policy centre implementations .
- Strong P&C insurance domain knowledge, including policy administration, underwriting, rating, billing, claims, and integrations.
- Guidewire-certified , preferably with Policy centre certification or equivalent implementation credentials .
- Expertise in end-to-end test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, and quality governance.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and CI/CD integration; hands-on exposure preferred.
- Strong leadership experience managing functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
