Application deadline: Sep 7, 2026The Platform Engineering and Emerging Technologies (PEET) team is hiring for a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead development and manage operations for AWS Managed Grafana, Managed Prometheus, Wickr, and Kinesis Video Streams! Upon start, the selected candidate will be sponsored for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.Key job responsibilitiesKey job responsibilities- Design, deploy, monitor, and automate infrastructure, tools and software to provide a highly-available and resilient platform for our customers' and our team's workloads.- This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week in every six. We don’t like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our systems are fault tolerant. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
