We are seeking a bilingual HR & Payroll Coordinator to support payroll processing and day-to-day human resources operations for a growing organization in New Brunswick, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator, Payroll Coordinator, Payroll Specialist, or Human Resources professional with hands-on payroll experience, including commissions and variable compensation.

HR & Payroll Coordinator Benefits & Compensation

• Base salary of $65,000–$75,000

HR & Payroll Coordinator Requirements

• Hands-on payroll processing experience for 100+ employees
• Experience processing commissions or other variable compensation
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience with new hire onboarding and HR administration
• Experience with payroll systems and/or third-party payroll vendors
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential employee information

Preferred HR & Payroll Skills

• Benefits administration and benefits enrollment
• Familiarity with ACA, FMLA, COBRA, and HR compliance
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Experience maintaining employee records and HR documentation

HR & Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for approximately 100–200 employees, including commissions and variable compensation
• Review payroll for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with payroll vendors
• Manage new hire onboarding, paperwork, and employee documentation
• Support benefits enrollment, eligibility changes, and employee questions
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records
• Assist employees with payroll and human resources questions in both English and Spanish
• Support leave administration, HR compliance, reporting, and documentation
• Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department
