Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to design personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, alleviating pain, and preventing disability.
• Directly oversee physical therapy assistants to ensure the appropriate execution of therapy interventions in line with each patient's individualized care plan.
• Utilize diagnostic and prognostic tests to evaluate patients' muscle, nerve, and joint functions, documenting findings for ongoing care adjustments.
• Evaluate home environments and recommend modifications that support rehabilitation and promote patient independence.
• Provide and administer prescribed physical therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other physical agents, ensuring each session is tailored to individual capabilities.
• Participate actively in the care plan formulation and adjustments while collaborating within an interdisciplinary team during case conferences.
• Maintain detailed clinical records including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on treatment processes and the use of therapy devices, fostering a collaborative relationship throughout the patient journey.
• Monitor and document progress, reporting significant changes in patients' conditions to physicians and support staff promptly.
• Stay accessible during the therapy sessions conducted by Physical Therapy Assistants to provide support and supervision as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Rehabilitation Center primarily serves diverse populations recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions requiring rehabilitative support. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current and active Physical Therapist licensure in Florida.
• CPR certification maintained and updated.
• A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience within a rehabilitation center setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with orthopedic conditions and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
