Prior Authorization Specialist - CMA/RMA/MA/LPN - Full-Time

Electronic Prescription Prior Authorization (EPA) Specialist: MA/CMA/RMA/LPN

Location: Bloomington, MN Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM No direct patient care

Pay rates:

CMA/RMA/MA: Up to $40.81 per hour, depending on experience! LPN: Up to $49.82 per hour, depending on experience!

We are seeking experienced Electronic Prescription Prior Authorization (EPA) Specialist to support a centralized Medication Prior Authorization team with high-volume Epic In Basket work.

Responsibilities:

Process high volumes of medication prior authorizations, including self-administered medications such as GLP-1s
Review clinical documentation and submit authorization requests
Track requests, follow up on additional information, and assist with denials/appeals
Use Epic, RightFax, softphone, and related systems
Coordinate with providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies

Requirements:

MA, CMA, RMA, or active LPN
1 or more years of processing medication prior authorizations within the EPIC system
Previous experience with complex medication prior authorizations
Strong Epic proficiency, including In Basket workflows
Strong organization, accuracy, and communication skill
