Field Safety Representative (Construction) Phoenix, Arizona Field Safety Representative II is responsible for promoting and supporting a proactive safety culture across assigned construction projects through daily field engagement, coaching, and hazard prevention. This role serves as a trusted safety resource for project teams by ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations, identifying and mitigating risks, supporting training initiatives, and assisting with incident investigations. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on safety professional who builds strong relationships in the field, leads by example, and is committed to helping every employee return home safely each day. Duties & Responsibilities Promote a strong safety culture through daily field presence and employee engagement. Observe work activities and coach employees on safe work practices. Identify hazards and support immediate corrective actions. Conduct site safety inspections and document findings. Assist with safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training. Maintain project safety records and compliance documentation. Support compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with project leadership to improve safety, quality, and productivity. Recognize and reinforce positive safety behaviors across the project team. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 years of construction and safety experience. Ability to interpret and apply OSHA regulations and safety standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and related business software. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Preferred OSHA 30-Hour Certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire. Experience in concrete construction environments. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
