This role will mainly be working in the NWGA locations for training.Primary Responsibilities:Learn the fundamentals of the HR functions at Shaw, covering a variety of topics including but not limited to total rewards, HR compliance and employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and development, LOA, and moreConduct investigationsAssist with associate experience projects at facilities.Address associate concerns and determine best next steps.Assist with maintaining staffing levelsProvide support to the assigned business areas of manufacturing facilities and other areas of operations as neededAssist with succession planning and talent development.Other tasks and projects as assignedPosition Requirements:BA/BS Degree in HR management or related fieldGeneral Business & Employment Law AcumenAbility to operate successfully within a teamAbility to manage and resolve conflictAbility to coach peers or othersAbility to influence/communicate across the entire spectrum of the workforceAbility to travel between facilities in the NW Ga area, including Dalton and Cartersville.Preferred:1-2 years of HR experience preferredBilingualDesired Competencies:Build Trusting RelationshipsDemonstrate Good JudgmentCoach & SupportDrive ResultsDemonstrate Inclusive Leadership8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AMShaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
