Chief Investment Officer

To lead the development of a new robo-advisory platform, the full-time Chief Investment Officer will design investment strategies, select funds, and collaborate with engineering teams, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities Design and own the Investment Policy Statement and the 50/30/20 model portfolio framework across risk bands Select and maintain the fund/ETF lineup using clear due-diligence criteria Define rebalancing and tax-loss-harvesting logic, collaborating directly with the engineering team to implement the product Required qualifications Experience building and running model portfolios at a small-to-midsize RIA or robo-advisor CFA charter or equivalent demonstrated track record Working knowledge of modern portfolio theory and asset allocation methodology Ability to be publicly named as the face of an investment strategy in regulatory disclosures Startup mindset with a hands-on approach to building investment functions from scratch
