Accountant

Compensation $22 - $26 /hour, depending on experience Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accountant to join their team! This opportunity has arisen due to internal team movements, and the company is looking for a talented Accountant to fill the gap. You'll be working in a collaborative environment, contributing to key financial operations, and showcasing your expertise. This is an open-ended contract with potential for conversion, offering a chance to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities & Duties Manage and reconcile financial records accurately Assist in preparing financial statements and reports Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Collaborate with team members for financial audits Support budgeting and forecasting activities Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems Contribute to process improvements and efficiency Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Proven experience in accounting roles Strong understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience in contract accounting roles Familiarity with financial regulations in the utility sector Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and macros 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance Voluntary and Long-term disability insurance Paid time off, 401k, and holiday pay Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit If you are interested in learning more about the Accountant opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
